Additional Information

This retreat is a space for homeschool moms to breathe, connect, and remember the God who has been faithful in every season. As we gather, we’ll slow down and listen to the stories that have shaped us—stories of struggle, of joy, of unexpected grace, and of God meeting us right where we were.
This Is My Story invites each mom to reflect on her unique journey that God is writing in her life and family. Through times of worship, encouragement, shared meals, and honest conversation, we’ll celebrate the testimonies that make us who we are. This year we are thrilled to have Jennifer Cabrera aka the Hifalutin Homeschooler who loves to offer insight, encouragement, and comedic relief to the 'real' life highs and lows of being a homeschool mom.
Registration is only $89 for this full day of encouragement.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A MEMBER TO ATTEND.
Payment is due upon registration and NO REFUNDS will be issued. Thanks for understanding.
Grab a girlfriend, book a hotel and make it a getaway weekend!

Breakouts
Seasons of Homeschooling: The Good, the Bad & the Glorious! With Dana Bailey
After nearly three decades of homeschooling 11 children, I've learned a lot- about my kids and about myself. In this breakout, I'll share the myths I once believed, the mistakes I've made and the successes that kept us going. You'll also have a chance to ask questions and (hopefully) leave with the encouragement you need for your own homeschooling journey.
Prayer Support for Mothers in Every Season with Amy Choate
Motherhood doesn’t get easier—it just changes. Whether you’re raising littles, navigating the teen years, launching young adults, or walking alongside grown children, each season brings its own joys and challenges.
Come join us as we pray for the hard things our children are going through—struggles with identity, friendships, anxiety, rebellion, faith questions, marriage difficulties, prodigal seasons, and more. Your child doesn’t have to be facing a specific crisis for you to come. We want to pray for wisdom, grace, peace, and strength for us as mothers and for each of our children, no matter their age.
We will pray for one another and encourage each other. Just knowing that other moms understand—whether they are a few steps ahead, walking a similar road, or just beginning the journey—can be a deep comfort in difficult seasons.
No matter the age of your child, you are welcome here. Let’s carry one another’s burdens and lift our children to the Lord together.
Pouring From a Full Cup: The Impact of a Mom’s Mental Health on Her Family with Kimberly Christian
As homeschool moms, we pour into our families every day — spiritually, emotionally, and academically. But what happens when our own cup is empty?
Pouring From a Full Cup is a faith-filled, practical class designed to help Christian homeschool moms care for their mental and emotional health without guilt.
You’ll learn how your self talk shapes your home, how stress and expectations affect your family, and how God calls you to steward your heart just as much as your homeschool curriculum
You’ll leave encouraged, refreshed, and equipped with simple tools to renew your mind, restore your spirit, and lead your family from a place of peace instead of pressure.
Demystifying Tech for Curriculum Planning: From Overwhelm to Organized Flow with Shvaughn Welch
Feeling overwhelmed by the daily demands of homeschool planning—juggling lesson prep, tracking progress, accommodating learning needs, and keeping everything on track while running a household (and maybe a business too)? You're not alone. Many homeschool moms face decision fatigue, constant mental load, and the fear that things will fall through the cracks.
In this honest, hope-filled session, discover how approachable technology can turn that chaos into calm, organized flow without needing to be a tech wizard. We'll explore practical ways tech simplifies curriculum planning, reduces stress, and creates flexible rhythms that fit your family's real life. We'll gently address common fears around emerging tools like AI (e.g., "Is this cheating?" or "Will it make things too generic?"), while showing how it can serve as a helpful brainstorming partner to spark ideas and save time, always under your guidance and values.
Walk away empowered with clear, doable next steps to try one small change, plus resources to keep building confidence. Technology doesn't have to be scary. It's a gentle, practical ally that lightens the load, frees up time for what truly matters (like nurturing hearts, building relationships, and finding peace in your days), and reminds us there's grace for the journey.
