My boys love this park! Kids of all ages can have fun at this location. Bring your skateboards, scooters, and bikes and let's enjoy a nice summer morning in the sun. You can bring a blanket and some snacks and the little ones can have a picnic on the green spaces nearby and watch their siblings rolling around. There is also a playgound for younger ages a few yards away.

Frisco's first skate park is largest in North Texas at more than 47,000 square feet. Features include street and terrain course with multiple lines, rails, bowls, half pipe, and more.

SKATE PARK TERRAIN

The Skate Park at Northeast Community Park is a destination-sized, all-wheeled sports facility that caters to skateboards, bikes, in-line skates and scooters. It has been designed for all levels of riders—from beginner to professional, with one-acre of custom designed terrain with three areas:

The Plaza

Runs the length of the skate park with multiple features ending in a 16-foot concrete wave

16 foot wide custom fabricated, perforated metal barrier that transitions between the plaza and flow bowl areas.

Multi-Depth Flow Bowl

  • About every height and transition possible from 5 ft to 9 ft depths
  • 6 feet tall "tombstone" extension in the 8 ft deep bowl section
  • 5 feet tall roll-in
  • pump bump
  • 15.5 feet tall over-vertical "wave" capsule

Pool

  • 7 feet, 7.5 feet, 9.5 ft with 1.5 feet of vertical
  • 3.5 feet waterfall between the shallow and deep ends
  • pool coping and tile

SKATE PARK RULES

  • This park is designed for skateboards, scooters, inline skates and bicycles. Motorized vehicles or RC cars are not allowed.
  • Plastic Pegs only are allowed on BMX bikes to help our park last longer.
  • No personal ramps or rails are allowed on the premises.
  • Safety equipment is strongly recommended, including helmets, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, and proper shoes.
  •  Adult supervision for skaters younger than 10 years old is required. Use at your own risk. Know your abilities and skate within them. Be mindful of others.
  • The use of wax is not allowed.
  • Only one person per skateboard.
  • Abide by the flow in open areas. Only one person on a (bowl) at a time.
  • Alcohol, tobacco products and illegal substances are not allowed.
  • Loud music, horseplay, abusive language or fighting will result in loss of skating privileges.
  • Dispose of all trash properly. Please keep all food, drinks and glass out of the skating area.
  • Competitive or demonstration events are not allowed without prior approval of the Frisco Parks and Recreation Department.
  • Graffiti, tagging, littering, stickers or other items are not allowed in the skate park. Graffiti/vandalism of the skate park will result in a minimum 72 hour facility closure.
  • The City of Frisco reserves the right to close the skate facility for events, emergencies, or when conditions necessitate.
  • This facility is used by both experienced and inexperienced skaters. Serious injury may result from being hit by a skateboard, falling or colliding. The City does not assume responsibility for injuries—SKATING IS AT YOUR OWN RISK
  • Infractions of one or more of the above listed rules may result in a loss of skating privileges.
