Mission Statement

Frisco Home is School is a Christian homeschool community existing to

SUPPORT moms, CONNECT families, and SERVE one another for the glory of Jesus Christ.

Therefore ENCOURAGE one another and build one another up. 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Who are we?

God has a plan for you and your homeschool. Frisco HIS' mission is to SUPPORT MOMS, so that they are equipped to raise up the next generation of influencers for the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

We are not a school, a co-op or a drop off program. We are moms working together to encourage each other and plan engaging and exciting extra-curricular events for our kids that help us to homeschool better. Our Mom's events are the highlight of what we do and we invite you to get involved and help us plan!

If you have been thinking of joining and are just not sure, please reach out with all of your questions!

Membership will open again in the summer but we do have opportunities to come and try us out.

For more information about our homeschool support group, email us at [email protected]

We look forward to hearing from you.

2023 FHIS Drama Club Performance

Drawing inspiration from the oddball realm of 80’s movies, My Last Day at the Knickerbocker Hotel tells an unforgettable story about the struggles one teenage bellhop faces on her last day of work. Sam Kendall, a bright college bound student, simply wants to finish her last shift and claim her scholarship money from the company. There’s just one problem... she’s working for the greediest man alive: Mr. Knickerbocker. Determined to keep Sam from claiming her scholarship, Mr. Knickerbocker sets out to make her last day a living nightmare. With unruly guests, crashing elevators, and Ghostbuster wannabes running around, My Last Day at the Knickerbocker Hotel is sure to leave the audience in stitches!

History of Frisco HIS

Frisco Home is School began in 1995 when a handful of moms began meeting together in an upstairs room of The Abbey Cafe in Frisco, TX. They had all chosen to educate their children at home, and desired to meet together for encouragement, fellowship, and to share ideas. Today Frisco HIS has added many families and several sub groups including Mom's Connections, Frisco HIS Drama Club, Chess Club, LEGO Club, HIS Kids, Middle School and High School groups and more. We are a non-profit, volunteer led home school organization serving those who live in Frisco, TX and the surrounding area. Frisco Home is School was founded upon a distinctively Christian worldview and continues to be governed by Biblical principles, which have served our group well since the beginning. Membership is open to all homeschooling moms, regardless of their background or religious beliefs and the support group serves all members equally. We are dedicated to doing all things according to Biblical principles and bringing glory and honor to Jesus Christ. Our volunteers and leaders are required to sign an agreement with the Statement of Faith.
